MadWorld, the much anticipated, Wii exclusive game from Sega and Platinum Games, launched its Web site today.  If you have been living under a rock, MadWorld is the black, white, and blood red game featuring ultra-violent sports.  In MadWorld you play as Jack who is forced to compete in a gameshow called Death Watch.  The game features sport announcer voice overs as Jack beats his way to survival.  Also, the site shows us the first sign that MadWorld will have offline multiplayer.  You can see for yourself in the “Game Info” section under “Break the Rules”.

Platinum Games is an independent video game development company based in Japan.  Platinum Games is still a pretty new name in the business; however, it was founded by key members of the desolved Capcom’s Clover Studios.  Clover Studios were of course the masterminds behind our beloved game Okami.  So we are looking forward to MadWorld based on previous games coming from the minds at Platinum Games.
