Deadly Creatures is at the top of our list of hard-core games coming as a Wii exclusive.  Unfortunately, that list looks like it is moving into 2009.  (BTW - We’re planning a follow-up post on that theme)  THQ and Rainbow Studios did have an October and then December release dates planned at one time; however, that release has been pushed back until early February.

In the adventure/fighting game, you play as a Tarantula and a Scorpion in a third person.  The creatures explore a hostile desert landscape and fight for survival.  From the clips we’ve seen, the developer do an amazing job of recreating the world, but make it feel extremely foreign because it is viewed from the perspective of tiny creatures.  You can crawl up walls, ceilings, and subterranean areas.  The characters have to battle it out against insects, creatures, and eventually humans.
